Japanese engineers from UNMISS, the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, are repairing one of Juba’s busiest rough roads.

The peacekeepers are fixing a 2.5-kilometer stretch between Hai Tahrawa and the Jebel Market, UNMISS said.

The route was badly damaged by heavy traffic and recent rains.

The repair works started two weeks ago and should conclude by mid-September.
