The Governor of Western Equatoria said his Government does not welcome Ambororo nomads in the state.
Joseph Bangasi Bakosoro said the Ambororo were not welcomed in Western Equatoria due to issues of insecurity, Anisa FM reported.He warned people who were working with the Ambororo that the Government does not want the nomads back in the state.
The Ambororo are nomad cattle keepers from Sudan and Chad.
In the past, their cattle destroyed fields in Western Equatoria.
Mr Bakosoro made this statement on Friday upon his arrival in Yambio from an official visit to China.
