World Vision international has organised a four-day training to vaccinators on immunization programme from Nzara and Yambio Counties.
Polio Field Assistant OfficerÊ Abel Titus Zingbondo said that the training was to empower vaccinators with technical knowledge about immunization, Anisa Radio reported.Mr. Zingbondo quoted the National Ministry of Health that Yambio and Nzara in poor performances in the last national polio vaccination campaigns due to lack of well trained personnel.
He urged all communities both in Yambio and Nzara counties to welcome the vaccinators, because vaccinations can prevent polio that paralyse and kill unvaccinated children.
The four-day training that brought together 35 participants will close on Thursday.
