The SPLA Spokesman, Colonel Philip Aguer Panyang told the press on Wednesday that the SPLA who are sentenced for imprisonment are waiting for confirmation from the higher authorities.
He said SPLA are imprisoned according to strict courts of law of operations that have been observed in the five courts of the disarmament sectors.
Colonel Aguer said judges are implementing the operation laws so that no indiscipline goes along in the disarmament processes.
He added that disarmament will continue until the SPLA see no arms in civilians’ hands in Jonglei State and other parts of the country.
SPLA disarmament forces were accused of rape and murder in Jonglei State.
