WINROCK organization has announced that it is closing down its operation in South Sudan by the end of the year.
WINROCK International is currently implementing educational project affiliated to the National Ministry of General Education, a project funded by USAID, Voice of Hope reported.The Director of Gender Equity for Education; Christine Henry Jada, said that the program has been carried out by the organization for the last five years.
She said that the program goal was to encourage girls to attend secondary education.
Ms Henry explained that the organization remains to complete a mentoring program before concluding its mission.
She said she was not sure whether the organization will be given an extension to continue its activities or not.
