The Catholic bishop of Yei Diocese has urged young people to love and forgive one another and pray for those who persecute them.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe appealed to the young people and to the public to build solidarity with the commissioner and the police to bring about peace in Yei River County and in the country at large, Radio Easter reported.The Bishop said for the last three to four weeks there has been insecurity in the county adding that people should defend and protect one another.
Bishop Lodu urged the police to do their work of protecting citizens.
The Catholic Bishop of Yei made these statements during the Eucharistic celebration of Pentecost Day at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
