118 young Christians received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Joseph the Worker’s Parish, Kimotong in Eastern Deanery of Torit Diocese.

Bishop Johnson Akio Mutek advised the newly confirmed Christians to keep close to the Church as the Sacrament empowers them to be pillars of the Church.

He thanked the people of Kimotong for being peaceful, saying that love promotes peace and development.

Bishop Akio said the Logiri community lacks development due to hostilities among the people.

The bishop announced that he will build a secondary school at Kidepo to link Buya, Didinga, Toposa, Lotuko and Lopit to stop conflicts among them and promote peace within these communities.
