Eastern Equatoria Governor has received his deputy as part as a major reshuffle in the state government.

Governor Louis Lobong Lojore issued a decree relieving Nartisio Manir Loluke from the office of deputy governor, Radio Emmanuel reported.

Mr Lobong appreciated Mr Manir’s services to the state and the people during his term of office.

Mr Manir is the last member of the previous cabinet to be dismissed following a mass reshuffle of the state executive to transform it into a transitional government.

Governor Lobong announced that he would appoint a full time deputy governor to check on the work of ministers, advisors and county commissioners.

The transitional cabinet has brought in six new faces. Two ministers retained their ministries and another four were shifted.

Five ministers lost their jobs.
