The Governor of Central Equatoria has announced a new cabinet after relieving 12 ministers from the previous state executive.
The new cabinet consists of 13 ministers with six new faces, Bakhita Radio reported.Seven ministers kept their ministries: Jacob Aligo of Finance, Paul Ladu of Animal Resources, Michael Roberto of Agriculture, Francis Barson of Information, Emmanuel Ija of Health, John Malish of Parliamentary Affairs and Micheal Tongun of Cooperatives and Rural Development.
Suba Samuel Manase took Physical Infrastructure, Margeret Ayite Milyan Education and Instruction, Mary Apayi Ayiga Gender and Social Development, Cicilia Oba Tito Cabinet Affairs, Albert Pitia Redentore Local Government and Valentino Kenya Pitia Labour and Public Service.
The ministers who said bye-bye to the executive include John Ladu Tombe, from Physical Infrastructure, Paterno Legge Omini, from Local Government, Stephen Lemi Lokuron from Labour and Public Service, Helen Mursal Boro, from Gender and Social Development and Juma Saeed Wurjo, from Environment.
Governor Clement Wani Konga also relieved the county commissioners Elia Wai Wai of Yei River, Suba Samuel Manase of Lainya and Peter Thomas Gore of Juba.
The new commissioners are David Juma Agustino for Yei River, Tereka Sadaraka Lojuron for Lainya and Stephen Wani Michael for Juba.
The new cabinet has three women, unlike the previous executive that had only one female minister.
The new cabinet will be sworn-in tomorrow.
