The ministry of education in the Nuba Mountains says that it will increase efforts to improve girl-child education in the SPLM-North controlled areas.
Director of Education Kuti Arnesto Afjan said the ministry is struggling to provide education to the Nuba children and particularly to girls.He added that girls are the most vulnerable group the society and need great attention in terms of education.
Mr Arnesto said the authorities do not have enough money to carry their programs but the ministry is trying to work out those difficulties.
The Director of Education appreciated the parents for the efforts they are making in order ensure that their children have get an education.
He added that there was improvement in the ministry of education and schools have resumed following the move of some private individuals willing to boost education in the area.
