A representative of the civil society has asked constitutional post holders to choose between government service and commercial activities.

Deng Athuai asked the government to look into economic issues concerning local traders.

He said in a short time local traders will be out of business because there is no sustainable work for them.

Mr Athui said ministers normally bring contractors from abroad instead of using the ones in the country.

He said the civil society would like to tell those ministers to choose between being a minister or a trader but not both things.

Mr Athui was speaking at the opening of SPLM National Liberation Council meeting yesterday in Juba.
