A charity organization today has launched an open air AIDS awareness campaign targeting Lainya, Morobo and Yei River counties of Central Equatoria.
PSI, Population Service International, Program Manager for HIV and Water Sanitation, Sahara Ouma, told Radio Easter that each year her organization holds community awareness events targeting boda-boda riders, businessmen, school dropouts and sex workers.Ms Ouma said the awareness campaign provides a big amount of information on the chosen theme.
She appealed to the entire community to participate.
Ms Ouma said the event will feature artists and drama groups.
She added that next month event will be hosted in Morobo County.
