St. Daniel Comboni Catholic Hospital has begun offering in-patient admission services to the population of Wau.

Last year the Catholic Hospital opened the out-patients department and started the rehabilitation of other sections.

St. Comboni Hospital Matron Rose Mary Oduol told Radio Voice of Hope that the new wing will offer proper health services to people with different needs.

She said the Hospital has completed the admission wards four month ago and it is functioning since Monday with the capacity of 26 beds.

The hospital offers medical and delivery services.

Sr Rose Mary said the hospital charges 30 pounds per day for internment with all services included except food.

She added that some people complain that it is too expensive but the matron said that if people buy what they need in the private drugstores they will pay munch more.

The matron added that the services are very good and the charges are cheap.

Sr Rose Mary pointed out that the administration does not refuse services to the poor who cannot pay their bills.

She added that each person should take care of his or her health and keep in mind that treatment costs money.

St. Daniel Comboni Hospital started offering out-patients services in 2010.

The facility belongs to the Catholic Diocese of Wau.
