University students are the best qualified members in the society to stem tribalism in South Sudan.

Dr Alex Yuro told the university students in Upper Nile University to lead the nation by living in peace and harmony at the campus, Radio Voice of Love reported.

He said students need to follow the model of the lecturers who teach students equally without considering their tribal or religious origins.

Dr Alex added that if every person behaves like teachers and lecturers tribal clashes would stop in South Sudan.

He warned the students to not let the culture of division and tribalism capture the country.

Dr Alex said students have a big role to play in order to correct their communities and the nation at large.
