Yei Traffic Police this morning arrested two people caught while forging personal documents to sell to their clients.

Second Lieutenant Andrew Kenyi told Radio Easter that they arrested the two criminals at Mark Choice Computer Centre in Yei Supermarket.

He said Mugabe Peter, a DSTV dealer from Uganda, trained South Sudanese national Mokili Matthew to assist him forging driving licenses, national identity cards, and SPLM membership cards.

Officer Kenyi said most of the forged documents were sold to foreigners in order to get jobs and stay in South Sudan as nationals.

Mr Matthew said they charged each person 25 South Sudanese pounds to produce a forged identity document.

Officer Kenyi appealed to citizens to stop buying documents from the market instead of getting them from the respective institutions and government offices in Juba.

The two citizens caught red-handed are under police custody waiting to face the law.
