MEDICAL STUDENTS IN WAU LAMENT LACK OF LECTURES

Medical students at the University of Bahr El Ghazal in Wau did not receive lectures since it opened in January.

Joseph Murosuk told Bakhita Radio over the phone from Wau that the College of Medicine lacks professors and lecture halls.

He said the dean is not communicating with the students to explain why there are no lectures up to now.

Mr Murosuk added that the Colleges of Medicine and Veterinary Sciences have not received any single lecture since January.

He said students are getting desperate due to lack of information and the government and the university administration are keeping silent.

Mr Murosuk said students are frustrated and are planning to return to their homes do something else because they can be medical students without education.

He added the ministry of high education failed to help students.

Mr Murosuk said the government should know that they are losing students’ support and the slogan Let all children go to school simple propaganda because it does not care about education at all.
