A team from an international organization is repairing wrecked boreholes in all SPLM-North controlled areas in Southern Kordofan State.
Community relation manager Alamen I. said the team has inspected Delami and Omm-Durein localities during the last two weeks.
He added that the team is working now in Heiban and after it proceeds to Buram.
Mr I. added that an NGO is repairing ruined boreholes in Western Jebel and Southern Kadguli in order for the local people to have clean water.
The manager said his organization received many complaints from the communities who do not have water.
He explained that for now the NGO is not drilling new boreholes due to the situation in the region but repairing damaged boreholes.
Mr I. encouraged the people of Nuba Mountains to report broken boreholes to Kauda’s office in order to get spare parts.
