The Governor of Eastern Equatoria announced that his new cabinet will be chosen on qualifications, experience and performance merits.
Louis Lobong Lojore said on Tuesday during the swearing-in of the state Members of the Assembly, the speaker and the deputy speaker that his next cabinet will integrate individuals who are capable to work and deliver better services.He announced that a caretaker administration was in place until the new government is appointed.
Mr Lobong added that all counties in the State will be represented in the government by qualified individuals.
He urged MPs and citizens to identify the capable members able to join the government.
Mr Lobong appealed to the legislators to continue working hand in hand with the executive for the development of the State.
He also promised his cooperation with the House.
Mr Lobong urged MPs to use their recess period to enlighten citizens on the new developments in the nation.
The governor called on all citizen of Eastern Equatoria to develop a desire of work for the development of South Sudan.
