ARCHBISHOP OF JUBA APPOINTS NEW SECRETARY GENERAL

The Catholic Archbishop of Juba has announced the appointment of a new secretary general for the archdiocese and other changes of personnel.

Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro said in a circular letter that Fr Gabriel Asida Andrea, parish priest of St Mary Immaculate’s-Terekeka as been appointed Secretary-General for a period of three years subject to renewal.

Fr Acida takes over from Fr Martin Ochaya Lino, who was in the office for over five years and in February sgoes on sabbatical leave.

Fr. Erkola Lodu was promoted from Terekeka’s assistant parish priest to parish priest and Deacon Victor Robba was transferred from St Joseph’s parish to Terekeka.

Fr. Peter Nafuoni, parish priest of Sacred Heart √ɬê Kworijik, was appointed chairman of the Archdiocesan Priests’ Association for three years.

Archbishop Lukudu urged the catholic community to cooperate and support the newly appointed church officials and thanked and blessed those who served in the offices of the new appointees.
