An Episcopalian pastor yesterday urged the people of South Sudan to be patient with the government of the six-month old republic.
Joseph Taban, who heads The Bishop Gwynne College, told the congregation in his New Year sermon at the ECS All Saints Cathedral in Juba that people need patience while working hard to take the nation ahead.He urged the citizens of South Sudan to be tolerant in their workplaces.
Rev Taban said patience shows maturity and it makes a huge difference in the running of the country.
He advised the faithful to face the challenges of the New Year with courage, and look forward in spite of shortcomings and mistakes.
Rev Taban was speaking at the New Year’s Prayer Service attended by the leaders of the Anyanya One, Joseph Lagu and Abel Alier, sitting side by side.
