The national interior minister has assured the citizens of South Sudan that they would celebrate Christmas in peace.
Speaking at Bakhita Radio, Alison Manani Magaya wished the citizens of South Sudan a peaceful Christmas celebration.He assured them of total security during the festival.
Mr. Magaya reiterated his commitment to correct the attitudes of the police force to become friendlier towards citizens.
He warned that the police officers must change and leave out their old brutal ways of dealing with citizens.
Mr. Magaya affirmed that citizens, government and international bodies were speaking hard about poor performance of South Sudan Police Service.
He concluded that the police would soon enjoy the support of the public after receiving proper orientation.
