Eastern Equatoria governor said the recently concluded Governors’ Forum voted his state as the best performing government on development in South Sudan.
Louis Lobong Lojore told the congregation at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Torit on Sunday that Eastern Equatoria was rated number one in terms of development and number two in financial management after Western Equatoria during the Governors’ Forum.Mr. Lobong observed that sometimes citizens are two negative to judge their performances instead of praising themselves for the work well done.
He called for continued hard working in order to keep Eastern Equatoria in the top ranks.
The Governors’ Forum attracted leaders from the ten states of South Sudan to discuss issues of development of the new nation and report on the realities at local level.
