Gidel parish in Nuba Mountains Nuba Mountains has received two new priests from East Africa.
Fr. Deogratias Minja from Tanzania told Voice of Peace that when he heard his Bishop was requesting some priests to serve in Nuba Mountains he did not hesitate because he believes God gives courage and grace, has called him and gave him courage to come even if there is war.He said he used to fear wars and could not imagine going to war zones himself.
Fr. Herbert Muyelero from Uganda said after his ordination he was assigned to work in Nuba Mountains.
He said his family, relatives and friends are worried about the wara but he was ready to come and serve as missionary because that is what the oath of his mission requires.
The two priests asked the people to cooperate so that the Word of God can be spread.
