The Council of Ministers has directed its cabinet clusters to conduct technical preparatory meetings during the week on issues and policies presented by each ministry before it goes for final discussion in the council to speed up procedure.

Information Minister Barnaba Marial Benjamin said the cabinet clusters will now conduct meetings three days a week to discuss issues presented by the different ministries and decide which goes into the agenda of Friday’s regular council of ministers.

Dr. Marial explained that there is need for more preparation and technical contribution into the Cabinet’s agenda to speed up the meetings.

The minister added that the clusters’ work will shortened the time of discussions during the council of ministers and makes the agenda more precise.
