Five South Sudanese women suspected of using a lethal substance that killed a lady were deported by DR Congo authorities.
The women were handed yesterday to South Sudan Police in Morobo County, Central Equatoria, by the head of Congolese police, Morobo County press secretary Moses Data told CRN News via e-mail.The Congolese officer said women were surrendered to South Sudan to maintain good relations at the international borders.
An eye witness said the suspected women were severely beaten after one of them was alleged to poison a lady in Bazi, in the DR Congo side.
The incident happened at a trading centre bordering Kilikili Boma, of Gulumbi Payam, Morobo County.
