Sharing one’s life with the neighbours is more important than sharing material things.
Henry Woo, a Salesian priest, said during yesterday’s Sunday homily that sharing materials things should not be considered the most important thing: sharing lives with one another was more important, Don Bosco FM reported. He mentioned in South Sudan there is a strong tradition to share food and other things among neighbours.
Fr. Woo urged the congregation to share something with the missionaries in the whole world.
He asked the youth to share their life to serve the Church and respond to God’s call.
Fr. Woo made these statements while addressing the congregation celebrating World Mission Sunday yesterday at Sacred Heart Parish in Tonj.
The celebration was attended by over 600 people.
