EASTERN EQUATORIA GOVERNOR ENDORSES BAN ON OUTLAWED ALCOHOL

Eastern Equatoria State Governor Louis Lobong Lojore has issued a public order banning a number of alcoholic drinks falling under the category of √É’illegal liquor’.

Deputy Governor Nartisio Manir Loluke disclosed to state members of Parliament yesterday.

Mr. Loluke said the order refers to several complaints raised in the state in relation to effects of excessive consumption of certain categories of alcohol and on the behavior of consumers that also poises security threats to the public.

The order is expected to come to force from November 4, after one month to allow dealers to clear their stock.
