A group of girls that discuss social themes in Malakal’s catholic radio station said they are very important members in the society and need to be taken care of.
The young school girls who present the Crosstalk program in Voice of Love FM asked for due respect as full and true members of the society and families.Nyabuchai Anthony urged the society to send girls to school so that they can take part in the nation’s development.
She added that educated women can take good care of their children and the whole family.
Sunday Achuil Otor said the old understanding about girls should be forgotten.
She added that girls can do anything that boys do and as well as they do.
Umjuma Al-Faki said girls are wiser than boys and asked parents and the society to listen to girls’ ideas and take them into due consideration.
Crosstalk is an open program that allows youths to express their ideas and views in society.
