The former President of High Executive Council General Joseph Lagu has welcomed the new government and described it as very representative.
Speaking over Bakhita Radio, General Lagu said President Salva Kiir has formed an inclusive and very representative government in the new republic.He added that he wished well to the president and hoped the appointed ministers and servants work hard and show good leadership to the people of South Sudan.
Gen. Lagu explained that the role of national assembly is to guide the executive to govern the country well.
He said the parliament is not an opposition to the executive but the largest part of the government.
