The celebration of 25 years in the life of a parish is something big for the Church and for the locality.
This was the message Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe gave yesterday to the congregation gathered to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of St: Augustine parish.The Bishop said the occasion was important for everyone.
Bishop Lodu urged all the Christians to celebrate the sacrament of matrimony before dying adding that the sacraments are important for the growth of the Church.
During the celebration 147 candidates were confirmed and 103 baptized.
About 700 Christians attended the celebration.
