PEACEKEEPRES TEACH ENGLISH TO NORTH DARFUR LAWYERS

The peacekeeping mission in Darfur known as UNAMID started yesterday an English language training programme for 50 lawyers from North Darfur.

The course was requested from the Bar Association in El Fasher, the mission said.

The lawyers wanted to learn English in order to further their studies in law and in the fields of human rights and international humanitarian law.

The course, organized by UNAMID Rule of Law section,in collaboration with El Fasher University lasts for 45 days.

Participants will learn grammar rules, basic conversation skills, as well as legal, judicial and police terminology.
