Sports has been identified as a basic tool to promote unity among the youth in Yei River County.
County Inspector for Youths and Sports Kujo Benard told Easter Radio that young people in the county have different ideas which do not allow them to achieve their dreams.He stressed that the youths are the pillars of the new nation and they should rally behind the government and support development.
Mr. Kujo said sports activities such as football and cricket can help bring the young people together despite of their tribal and religious differences.
The inspector appealed to the youths to channel their problems to the relevant authorities in order to develop strategies to address them.
