Members of Eastern Equatoria State Assembly are preparing for intensive training on their roles.
The training provided by the International Republican Institute (IRI) is schedule for the end of the month, Emmanuel Radio reported.Speaker Ambrose Emmanuel Ocholimoi said in a press release that the training will focus on public policy development cycle and the role of Legislators among other important topics.
He added that he discussed the issue of the training with a visiting IRI delegation yesterday in Torit.
IRI Program Officer Moses Soro led the delegation.
The training is to be conducted in the ten states of South Sudan.
