The Hakima Health Training Institute is reopening in Nuba Mountains after a two-month break due to the conflict that erupted in South Kordofan at the beginning of June and affected all the activities in the region.

The secretary of Hakima Institute said the administration decided to reopen the school to continue training health officials.

The secretary said arrangements were made to find teaching staff to train nurses and laboratory technicians.

She added that staff belonging to a NGO operating in the area will teach some subjects.

Hakima Institute will reopen after the celebrations of the end of Holy Ramadan.
