Two people were injured yesterday when a Sudan air force plane attacked Kauda, in Nuba Mountains.
An antonov dropped three bombs at about 10:00 AM in the compound of Kauda Girls’ High School destroying the place and injuring two people.An eyewitness who saw the aerial bombardment told a local radio station that when the plane arrived people lied down.
He said the two victims were slow to ditch and were caught by the bombs’ shrapnel.
He added that one old lady was injured in the face and a young man broke his leg.
The witness said most of the school buildings were destroyed and burnt down.
He added that the injured were taken to the local hospital for treatment after receiving first aid.
He urged people to lie down in the moment they see any plane approaching to avoid injury and death.
