The police chief inspector of Tonj South County of Warrap state has outlawed random shooting including hunting to keep the peace in the area.
Lieutenant colonel Joseph Mayei told Don Bosco FM that the security has been normal in Tonj South County since the declaration of the independence.He added that those found shooting randomly will be fined, arrested and charged as murderers.
He explained that bullets shot accidentally into the air can kill by mistake.
Mr. Mayei urged the organized forces in the county to keep their guns in store when they are out of service.
He added that police and with wildlife forces were instructed to be investigate the origin of any shot they may hear.
Mr. Mayei explained that these measures are meant to strengthen and maintain peace and security in Tonj South County.
