Lainya County Commissioner has issued an order to demolish some structures which difficult the development of the city.
Lainya County press secretary Lugalla Bullen told Easter Radio over the phone that the commissioner issued an order demarcating the area to restructure in Lainya city.He said more than 75 houses will be affected by the order, including the house of the commissioner.
Mr. Lugalla added that the affected residents were not complaining since the demolition will bring development and permanent buildings to the city.
The press secretary explained that Lainya needed feeder roads to boost local development.
Demolition works started yesterday.
