FARMERS IN CENTRAL EQUATORIA RECEIVE GRANT

Farmers groups in Central Equatoria state today received a grant from the Multi-donor Trust Fund through the GoSS ministry of agriculture programme to support farmers in the state.

Speaking to Bakhita Radio, James Mustafa, agricultural technical advisor in Central Equatoria, said the grant allocation was taking place simultaneously in Juba, Yei and Terekeka counties.

He explained that close to 40 farming groups from different counties in the state received the grant.

Mr. Mustafa added that the grant was aimed at encouraging the farmers and alleviate hunger in the rural communities.

He revealed that the Multi Donor Trust Fund would continue supporting the farmers when they show interest to cultivate.

Northern Bari, Raja, and Gondokoro of Juba County are among the payams that received the grant today.
