The catholic archdiocese of Juba this morning briefed over 50 employees and staff of the church about the new administrative structure and service areas within the archdiocese.

Fr. Martin Ochaya, secretary general of the archdiocese of Juba, said the restructuring is called for by the recent promotion of Fr. Santo Laku Pio to assistant Bishop of Juba.

Fr. Ochaya said in the hierarchy of the church his grace Paolino Lokudu remains the Archbishop while Santo Laku Pio is the Auxiliary Bishop and newly appointed Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Juba to be announced tomorrow.

He added that Fr. Cesear Lokudu, who was the Vicar General is now the Moderator of the Curia- a new office recently formed.

The secretary general said the creation of new offices will ensure labour dissemination.

Fr. Ochaya said the event is important for the public and especially Christian communities to know that the church is expanding.
