Al-Haliya newspaper, closely linked to the NCP, reported that Ladu Gore, Paulino Matip and Ismail Kony wrote to president Kiir demanding him to dissolve his government within 24 hours.
The paper also reported that the three officials threatened to mobilise forces in coordination with George Athor to escalate insecurity in South Sudan.
Addressing the press yesterday eveing, Alfred Ladu Gore said the story was written by intelligent operatives in Juba and sent to Khartoum with the aim of tarnishing his name.
Mr. Gore added that it is illegal to present a sitting president with an ultimatum adding that there should not be anything that wiould spoil South Sudan’s freedom.
He appealed for unity and respect for each other’s views adding that the new South Sudan can only be built by all the ethnic groups and not only one tribe.
Mr. Gore said that such stories might lead to the break up of South Sudan.
