Siphamandala Zondi, head of the ministerial delegation, said that all challenges that face the region will be assessed particularly border issues.
The assessment will enable the AU to help the region to find solutions that allow post-conflict reconstruction.
Dr. Zondi asserted that various parts of South Sudan, especially those undergoing conflict like Jonglei, will be visited to get information that will help formulate the assistance needed for the post-conflict development.
The delegation comprised of 15 officials will be in South Sudan for one week.
