Yei listeners celebrated with joy the return of their favourite FM station on air.
Easter Radio has been off air for three weeks due to a generator problem but resumed normal emissions on Saturday.Lainya County information officer Lugala Hillary said over the phone that people were sorry because their source of news was off air.
However, now they are happy because the station is working again.
Lainya traffic officer Mary Kujang Angello said that their department missed the news and government information from Radio Easter.
A radio technician at the Agricultural Extension Hakim Erezenios said clients missed the weekly programmes on agriculture information his organization aired through Easter FM.
He showed his joy to be able to resume the partnership with what he called the best radio in town.
Agnes Nyoka, clinical officer for TB programme for Yei Civil Hospital, said she was happy her favourite station was back on air.
She praised Easter FM programmes that go well beyond the music playing of other stations and added that she missed the good pieces of advice from presenters.
Radio Easter was unable to file the feelings of the audience in Morobu, Kajo Keji counties and some parts of Congo and Uganda due to network problems.
