This was the message of the Security Advisor to Lakes State Governor, Santo Domic Chol, in an exclusive interview with Good News Radio.
Mr. Domic said that he had received reports of renewed skirmishes on Monday and Tuesday at Ilual cattle camp during which a local chief was killed and two people wounded.
He also admitted that his office had only gathered information from Yirol West County, adding that there are efforts to get reports of how the clashes have affected the Jur Beli community of Mvolo County in Western Equatoria State.
Meanwhile, Mr. Domic denied claims that the security officers deployed by the two involved States were guilty of partiality, arguing that the forces on the ground are a national security force drawn from the SPLA.
He reported that approximately 36 thousand households in Yirol West County alone lack basic needs that include food, water, shelter, and clothing.
