The health authorities are involved in a workshop to develop the strategic plan for the sector.
GoSS health undersecretary Olivia Loromo said the participants are working with a draft plan for the health development, Bakhita Radio reported.She added that partners from the states were invited to the workshop to share ideas in order to finalise the plan.
Dr. Lomoro said the workshop gave the health ministry the opportunity to discuss ways to provide services in an effective and efficient way.
The participants also discussed ways to fund the health system in South Sudan.
Dr. Lomoro added that after the plan is complete and the health sector regularized partners have to follow the decisions of the ministry and work in the areas given to them and not where they wanted like now.
The undersecretary said tomorrow the ministry is bringing in all the health state ministers to help summarise outcomes and findings.
