Authorities in Kauda, Nuba Mountains, have discussed the need to reserve land for building schools and other related services.
Nuba Mountains director general for education Kuti Ernesto Avejan told Voice of Love FM that the minister of education visited Kauda to discuss the state of education in the area.
He added that the minister saw the need to reserve land to build secondary and primary schools and accommodation for teachers.
Mr. Kuti added that all school plots should be secured and well used by education stockholders.
He said the authorities saved food for the whole academic year.
Mr. Kuti added that school teachers are in much need in Nuba Mountains.
The Director General doe Education said Nuba Montains will adopt the schools programmes of South Sudan and students and pupils are being introduced to the new syllabuses.
