The government of South Sudan has repeated its denial that it is supporting Darfur rebels.
Advisor to GoSS information ministry David Nok Marial told the press today that the stability of the north is vital for the stability of South Sudan adding that there is no point for the government to support Darfur rebels.He instead accused the north for supporting the militias attacking in South Sudan.
Mr. Nok added that South Sudan wants stability to be able to negotiate the Abyei and border issues and the use of the pipeline to take 100 percent advantage of its oil.
Sudan Armed Forces spokesperson Al-Sawarmi Khaled accused the SPLM of supporting the Justice and Equality Movement and giving sanctuary to some of its leaders.
