Upper Nile primary school finalists started today their exams at all examination centres in the state.

Education Director General William Gwang Deng said preparations were made to run the examinations on time, Voice of Love reported.

He added that there are eight examination centres in Malakal and three in Longechuk, Maiwut and Nasir.

The tests were taken by car and by plane to the examination centres.

Mr. Gwang said teachers completed the school programmes.

He added that the work done by teachers will be reflected in the results of the students.

Over 5,300 pupils are sitting for primary eight exams that could let them join secondary school if they pass them.
