The governor of Jonglei State said the education of women represents his next challenge after South Sudan’s independence.
Kuol Manyang Juuk told Bakhita Radio that women participated actively in the referendum process and should be rewarded through good services.He added that women should be educated to know their rights and liberate themselves from ignorance.
Mr. Manyang called on Jonglei’s women to fight for their rights and promised them economic empowerment.
Mr. Manyang concluded that his government would find ways to help lactating mothers find better job environments.
