Eastern Equatoria governor urged the people of South Sudan to commit themselves to build the new nation.
Louis Lobong Lojore made the appeal yesterday while addressing the top leadership of the state at a referendum victory party organized by the ministry of information in Torit, Emmanuel Radio reported.The governor cautioned against corruption, tribalism and nepotism saying the people need to reconcile and unite to build South Sudan as a newborn baby.
Mr. Lobong stressed that only the commitment of the people will avoid falling back into challenges that can cause the nation become the laughing stock of other countries including North Sudan.
The separation victory dinner was attended by ministers, Members of Parliament, advisors and directors from different government departments.
