Upper Nile Minister for Information told journalists to engage in positive reporting on the progress of peace in the new country.
Peter Lam Both told journalists that they will be reporting in a country called South Sudan very soon and that it needs a lot of responsibilities and reporting that reflects peace in the region.Mr. Both said the image of South Sudan has been tarnished by many years of war.
He added that journalists should learn principles and positive reporting.
Mr. Both made these statements to 42 journalists under training in Malakal.
